The Qrew Community Badge System

Quickbase’s community lacked a scalable way to recognize and motivate highly engaged users. There was no clear framework for showcasing leadership, rewarding activity, or fostering deeper participation.

  • Designed a dual-badge program:

    • Qrew Champions: For members showing standout leadership and advocacy.

    • Qrew Community: For consistent, active contributors

  • Implemented gamification: Integrated points, badges, and levels. We created challenges (e.g. answering questions, writing reviews) tied to tangible rewards

  • Boosted engagement: More users participated regularly in discussions, reviews, and advocacy initiatives.

  • Increased retention: Members became more invested and driven by the appeal of earning badges and advancing levels.

  • Strengthened community culture: It gave users status, visibility, and peer recognition, while promoting Quickbase advocacy

My Role

Each badge system was designed with progression in mind and recognizing continued involvement and growing contributions. Qrew Champions badges were tiered, allowing members to level up as they took on greater leadership and engagement within the community. Qrew Community badges featured distinct icons displayed on the website, visually celebrating user interactions like comments, likes, and other forms of participation.
