Count on It: Building Trust Through Design
Quickbase, a no-code platform for complex project & workflow management, needed to reinforce trust and reliability in its solutions. Internally, they lacked a unified visual message that communicated, “You can count on us.” They wanted a campaign that instilled confidence and illustrated dependability across all marketing channels.
To address this, we developed the “Count on It” campaign centered around the metaphor of counting, something universally associated with precision and reliability:
-
Concept & Visual Language: Created bold, geometric assets featuring numeric visual cues (like ticks, counters, etc.) to embody trustworthiness.
-
Design Elements: Applied a color scheme grounded in Quickbase’s brand identity to reinforce a sense of stability and credibility.
-
Applications: Deployed the campaign across digital ads, social media, website banners, and event branding, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable presence.
-
Improved Brand Perception: The campaign strengthened the perception of Quickbase as a dependable, enterprise-grade solution.
-
Increased Engagement: The animation-driven approach fostered higher click-through rates and dwell times on digital platforms.
-
Unified Messaging: It created a cohesive theme that aligned with Quickbase’s broader launch narratives.

My Role
I developed the visual elements for various industries and helped create the design guidelines for ads. I brought the campaign to life across multiple channels, including airport takeover ads, mobile, social media, and out-of-home placements such as billboards and postcards.

campaign visuals
I designed both generic and industry-specific hero images for the Count on It campaign. The hero images, once the patten was applied on top, were crafted to appear as if they were being built piece by piece using squares, aligning with the campaign’s theme. The concept was to convey a sense of reliability and illustrate that you can trust what’s coming next because you can count on it.
