Enrollment Campaigns
for HVCC
Like many higher education institutions, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) faced declining enrollment. The college needed to expand its reach, strengthen its reputation, increase enrollment, and effectively communicate the breadth of its academic offerings.
We developed a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy built around a bold new campaign: YOU CAN. Each enrollment period was assigned a unique color to aid brand recall and segmentation. The YOU CAN tagline reinforced HVCC’s value proposition that students could receive a high-quality education comparable to a four-year college, but at a more affordable cost. This message was integrated across all channels, including print, TV, brochures, and digital platforms.
The campaign drove significant engagement and conversions:

My Role
I was responsible for quarterly updates to all marketing materials, including print collateral, digital advertisements, and social media assets. Each enrollment period, particularly the key Fall and Spring admissions cycles, required the development of new creative assets, including Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising and printed materials for admissions folders. I also supported the creation of storyboards for brand commercials.

I created and assembled storyboard scenes for an animatic pitch, working closely from the script and in collaboration with the Director of Photography. I illustrated key moments to support a smooth visual flow, emphasizing storytelling, creative transitions, and cinematic composition to align with the project’s narrative goals.
